Music Making & Singing Sessions

We can offer "Hands-on" Music Making and Singing sessions for
older people, adults in healthcare settings, medical centres and
hospitals. Recent medical research has found that singing and
making music together creates a sense of community, is
confidence building, can make you feel good, can enhance your
well-being, reduce your feelings of pain and even prolong your life.
We can train staff to continue with the music making sessions.
These workshops are
devised and directed by
Saffron Summerfield.

Materials: Songsheets and
small, hand percussion
instruments are supplied
for the sessions.
We also offer Digital storymaking workshops using our own digital
equipment. A short film is created around participant's stories
personal memories, local environment and aural history.
Photographs and original music can be included.
